About this Event
Okay, we all love big knives and sometimes need to find an excuse to use them. Well, here's at least one excuse! This class will be focused on carving miniture versions of things we craft in the normal Owl Eyes Wilderness curriculum...but with the biggest knives! We will have a few blades to borrow if you do not have anything big. All natural materials will be provided. this is more of an open ended class in which you can choose what you'd like to carve, but we will plan for wooden animals, feather sticks, fishing handlines, tiny bow drill sets, or anything folks come up with! Lets have some fun!
WHAT TO BRING
- Cut Resistant Gloves
- A Big Knife
- Appropriate Clothing for Weather
- Camp Chair (if you do not want to sit on the ground)
- Knife Sharpener (optional)
All ages are welcome. This is an adult themed class meaning students must be mature and have the dexterity to handle large tools. Mature minors are welcome with a ticketed parent. This class will be held outdoors, rain or shine.
