About this Event
Join Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival in this special program in which we go back in time and learn skills all of our ancestors practiced to survive and live their every day lives! Open to students 8-14 years old. We will meet 3 hours each week and make our own tools each class period and for homework.

Leave the knives, saws, and hatchets at home! All skills in this class will be using the stone cutting tools and bone tools that we craft on our own. Please dress for weather and bring water and snacks.
This class is labeled as "Survivalist D" on our website, and usually involves 3 prerequisites. For this round, there are no prerequisites for this program and anyone is welcome to join as long as they are mature, respectful, and focused. These skills require a lot of work and are usually reserved for mature students. However, we are also able to cater this class to new and beginner students.
Each class will happen rain or shine. This is not a "drop-off" program and parents are required to at least be nearby, or join in on the fun.
Students will receive their OEWS patch and feather patch towards their Alula Certification after completion of this class.
