About the Event
Kick off the holiday season with an unforgettable evening of festive music, carols, and Ukrainian culture — all in support of children affected by war in Ukraine.
Enjoy a magical concert featuring:
• Jazz musician Taras Luka and his Quartet
• Internationally renowned pianist Anna Sagalova
• The Kolo Ukrainian Choir
Immerse yourself in the spirit of Christmas surrounded by Ukrainian handicrafts, carolling, and the beautifully decorated Orpheum Annex Theatre.
Program Highlights
The evening’s program includes a selection of traditional Ukrainian Christmas carols.
The concert takes its name from “Shchedryk” — the beloved 1916 song by composer Mykola Leontovych, later known worldwide as “Carol of the Bells”
Gifts & Giving
Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift for Ukrainian kids to place under the Christmas tree.
All proceeds support the Recovery Program for Children Traumatized by War, which provides grieving children with two weeks of trauma and art therapy in the peaceful Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains — free of charge.
To date, this program has helped more than 450 children heal and rediscover hope.
