About the show:You have seen her shouting at protests, screaming “I love you!” at Saint Levant and Sean Paul concerts. Now it’s time to watch her on stage. Unapologetic, unfiltered, and loud enough to get a noise complaint.
From Lebanon, Carmen has been described as Berlin’s underground secret with no password. Being a comedian for 10 years, means she’s either dedicated, stubborn, or just completely delulu, most likely all three.
After years of shows now saved carefully in her “out of storage” cloud, Carmen has finally worked really hard (well, kind of hard) on this new hour to make it as personal, fun and authentic as possible. She’s strangely attached to it, despite her allergy to hugs, and she wants loads of people to see it. Expect an hour of sharp punchlines about politics, dating disasters, Berlin weirdness, work nonsense, and what it’s like to be a petite Arab woman surviving (and thriving) in today’s world.
Do yourself a favour and take a deep dive into Carmen’s brain, it’ll help you realise how well your life is going.
