The Carlton Club Jazz Club has quickly become a staple, among others, in the Manchester Jazz scene, offering a lovely Sunday evening showcasing some of the best Jazz artists from the city and sometimes further afield.This June, we invite you to join us in welcoming the John Ellis Trio for their long-awaited return to the Carlton Jazz Club.
John Ellis is a pianist, composer, producer from the north of England. A founder member of The Cinematic Orchestra (contributing heavily to the albums Everyday and Man With The Movie Camera) he has also worked with the likes of Corinne Bailey Rae, Lily Allen and DJ Vadim and led his own trio and 12 piece big band The John Ellis Big Band.
