About this Event
Join the Dundee Carers Centre Creative Writing Group* to celebrate the launch of their first collection of writing: ‘On The Map’.
Members of the group will read from ‘On The Map’, followed by author Emily Utter reading from her novel-in-progress, ‘The Night Room’ and a short Q&A. There will be non-alcoholic refreshments and nibbles on offer, and each guest will receive a free copy of ‘On The Map’.
This event is open to all, and carers are welcome to bring along the person they care for. Please let us know when booking if you have any specific access needs. We can also help attendees with travel costs to the venue from anywhere in Dundee. If you need to access this fund, please let us know when you book.
*In collaboration with Wanda McGregor from Clype Collective, Dundee Carers Centre began a monthly Carers Creative Writing workshop in 2021. The group has gone from strength to strength, performing their work at several events such as during Carers Week and the centre AGM.
