Emily Thorpe
Principal Account Officer for Thames Water, Environment Agency
Emily is a water policy specialist with a background in Environmental Geography and International Development, and an MSc in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture. After working with environmental charities, she joined the Environment Agency and progressed through roles in regulation, strategic planning, and policy. In her current role, Emily shapes investment decisions and drives environmental performance across the sector.
Flo Sawyer
Strategic Water Resources Graduate Trainee, Environment Agency
A UCL alumna with a background in Biology and an MSc in Environment, Politics and Society, Flo joined the Environment Agency via the Graduate Training Scheme. Her work supports the implementation of the National Framework for Water Resources, collaborating with regional groups and high-demand sectors to build resilience to future water pressures.
