Join us for a thought-provoking event on capitalism and financial wellbeing.
Is capitalism a force for prosperity or inequality? Does it foster inclusion or exclusion? How does your financial situation compare to others?
The event features presentations and group discussions facilitated by two insightful speakers:
- Professor Adele Atkinson from the University of Birmingham, who will explore global efforts to improve financial wellbeing and combat financial exclusion. She will also lead a discussion on factors influencing personal financial wellbeing.
- Dr. Kristian Niemietz, Editorial Director at the Institute of Economic Affairs, who will share the institute's perspective on how low taxes and small government can drive prosperity for all.
The evening will kick off with live music by Dahlia Rae, a rising Birmingham-based artist known for her sharp lyrics and smooth vocals. Handpicked for Series 5 of The Rap Game UK, Dahlia is an artist to watch in 2025 and beyond.
