About this Event

Caoilian Sherlock is a talented songwriter who combines elements of psychedelia and folk with impactful and insightful pop music. With over a decade of experience playing music and writing songs he has honed his craft through his involvement in various bands such as The Shaker Hymn and The Tan Jackets. Following an array of playful and infectious singles, Sherlock released his debut solo album ‘Teenage Jesus’ in 2023.

Playing guitar and writing songs since the age of fifteen, well worn through years in rock and roll bands he began playing solo shows that reflect a folkier and sparser terrain. Backed with an electric guitar, a sense of entitlement and an overly sentimental view of almost everything, his contemplative music reflects a part of his record collection that hosts Paul Simon, John Prine and more recent luminaries like Bill Ryder Jones and Angel Olsen.

“A record that drifts between its psychedelic, folk, pop, and country influences, showcasing a singer-songwriter who is at ease with his own creative process” - The Thin Air

“A wonderfully diverse debut album” - Hot Press

“Sherlock combines influences from bands The Divine Comedy, Spoon, and Hiss Golden Messenger to create a compelling and adventurous country pop sound drenched in droll and self-aware sentimentality” - NotBad.ie
Someone is the moniker for Dutch/British composer, producer and visual artist Tessa Rose Jackson. Her music is warm, heartfelt, and emotional, filled with velvety acoustic melodies that wouldn't feel out of place on a Joni Mitchell record. Being a film composer as well as a recording artist, her music feels inherently visual and cinematic, always being led by a sense of storytelling and mystique. Musically she channels heroes such as Feist, Zero 7 and Beach House, toeing the fine line between dreams and reality, delicacy and force.
