Dit keer is het de cantate ‘Wer sich selbst erhöhet, der soll erniedriget werden’ (BWV 47). De dienst sluit gewoontegetrouw af met een mooi orgelwerk van J.S. Bach. De toegang is vrij, aan de uitgang is een collecte.

Het #westerkerkkoor zingt de koordelen van de cantate. De solisten zijn @marjonstrijk (sopraan) en @wesselvdham (bas), beiden zeer vertrouwde gezichten. @ensemblekabinet staat garant voor de prachtige instrumentale begeleiding en de muzikale leiding is in handen van @janjoostvanelburg . Voorganger is dr. @cmpumplun , @evanbogerd bespeelt het orgel.

On October 26th at 5:00 PM, a beautiful Bach cantata will be performed again in the Westerkerk in Amsterdam. This time it is the cantata "Wer sich selbst erhöhet, der soll erniedriget werden" (BWV 47). The service almost always concludes with a beautiful organ work by J.S. Bach. Performance The Westerkerk Choir will sing the choral movements of the cantata. The soloists are Marjon Strijk (soprano) and Wessel van der Ham (bass), both very reliable performers. Ensemble 't Kabinet will provide the beautiful instrumental accompaniment, and Jan-Joost van Elburg will be the musical director. The celebrant will be Dr. Cristina Pumplun, and Evan Bogerd will play the organ.
