About this Event

This is the time to anchor your light.

As the season invites us to shift our attention inward, we lean into the opportunity to nurture our inner light. Vocal toning from the heart taps us into the alchemy of deep listening to self where we tend the seeds of what grows quietly beneath the surface.

Join us on first Saturdays at Woodland Park Presbyterian for a candlelit evening of community vocal toning with crystal alchemy singing bowls—a soothing sound bath we create together from the inside out, using our voices. No singing experience needed.

Let’s fill the space with our voices and anchor the light together!

Time: 6:00 p.m. (Doors open at 5:45 p.m. for a prompt 6:00 p.m. start. Please note that we secure the front doors for the duration of the practice for everyone's comfort and safety.)

Duration: 60 minutes

Parking: Street parking is available, but can be crowded on Saturday evenings, so please allow extra time.
Please bring: A water bottle to stay hydrated (your vocal cords will thank you), and a zafu, mat, or cushion if you'd like to sit or lie down on the floor. Comfy chairs provided.
Good to know: This is a somatic practice, so please dress for warm, cozy comfort.
👉 Tickets: $20 per person, Pre-registration is required (no tickets will be sold at the door).
What's improvised vocal toning?
Vocal toning is a freeform meditative singing practice designed for the age of personal empowerment—no singing experience necessary. When paired with intention, vocal toning becomes a powerful tool for calming the nervous system, grounding the body, and rebalancing the mind. All sound is improvised—there’s no music to learn, no lyrics to memorize, and nothing to perform.

At Tone Circle Seattle, everyone’s invited to explore the somatic magic of their own sound accompanied by crystal alchemy singing bowls—to calm the mind and nervous system, connect from the heart, and bring more flow to daily life.

How does it work? We breathe. We sing. We get a little weird (in the best way). Together, we create a space of total acceptance, deep rest, and real-time vibrational support for wherever you are on your journey. Oh, and did we mention the spontaneous group harmonies that feel like soul-level hugs? Cue the goosebumps!I
Feeling shy about singing? We've got you.
It’s totally okay to just listen at Tone Circle Seattle events—there’s no pressure to make sound, only an open invitation. Your voice matters because it’s yours—whether spoken, intoned, or silently felt. In a group vocal meditation, the magic isn’t in “singing pretty” or getting anything right—it’s in showing up. It starts with hearing yourself and, when you feel ready, allowing yourself to be heard. Still nervous? Bring an emotional support friend. All people are welcome!
What should I bring?
We often sit on the floor for most of the practice, so feel free to bring your favorite cushion, zafu, or anything else that helps you sit comfortably. Cushy chairs will also be available and arranged in a circle for your comfort. A water bottle is a great idea too—your vocal cords will thank you.

Help Tone Circle Seattle answer the call for community support!

With ongoing disruptions to SNAP benefits leaving many families uncertain about their next meal, we’re partnering with Woodland Park Presbyterian Church to help bridge the gap. If you’re able, you are very welcome to bring donations of non-perishable goods with you to Tone Circle first Saturday events to help support our neighbors via their on Greenwood Avenue, and other efforts.
