Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your very own scented candles? Are you unsatisfied with generic and overpowering candles that use toxic materials? At our candle-making workshop, you can be assured that we'll have a variety of fresh, non-toxic, phthalate-free, paraben-free, and skin-safe ingredients to choose from!
With this holiday-themed workshop, you can find scent notes that range from familiar to unique. Add some flair to your average pumpkin spice scent with a brown sugar boba scent. Or mellow out an apple cinnamon scent with some yuzu and orange peel. Not a fan of spiced or gourmand scents? Don't worry, we'll have our usual scent notes available such as yuzu, lychee, and various tea scents. Learn how to combine other fun flavors from the expertise of Cici Wong of Yuzu Leaf and there will be a bonus car diffuser workshop*, as well.
Gather your friends or a date and join us at Nellita's Craft in Little Tokyo!
Each ticket includes all the materials necessary to make your own 9oz clean-burning coconut wax wooden wick candle with a custom printed label as well as a car diffuser. We offer step by step guidance and a variety of fresh and often Asian-inspired scents to choose from. Your ticket also includes a free gift from Yuzu Leaf and light refreshments during the workshop. The workshop runs about 2 hours maximum.
*Bonus workshop subject to change. Possible ideas: body spray, body butter, lip balm, melt & pour soap.
