About this Event
Class will begin with a Guided Meditation with Karla of Your Light Matters focusing on an energetic scan and reset for the body (Neck, Throat, Heart and Hip openers) to help release anything that is causing emotional/physical discomfort dis-ease or blockage + clear away anything that is no longer serving you. If you're new to meditation, no worries. There is no wrong way to do it and Karla will lovingly guide you through every step of the way.
Sydney’s yoga style is for students who would like to experience play, strength and exploration. Linking breath with movement, from one pose to another, mixing vinyasa flow with deeper, restorative stretch postures. She encourages others to live, dance, breathe with intention while opening up to the relationship between physical body awareness, internal reflection and the free-flow energy in that moment of balance on our mats. She is here to help you ENJOY the journey, every step of the way.
Karla is a Usui Reiki Master, here to remind others of their light within! Conducting soul healings using a blend of reiki + crystal energy, instruments, and the unique frequency of each participant. Every session is unique, as your soul is one of a kind!
Time exploring your Higher Self and being open to receive Divine Messages can offer direction and nourishment to the mind, body + spirit. Truly honored by the opportunity to hold sacred space for others, as she has seen first-hand how the healing of one offers healing to the world. Here's to healing + embracing our light within!
Important things to know:
What to Bring: Please bring anything you need to feel comfortable - yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask, bolster, water bottle, journal and wear extra layers to stay warm.
Arrival: Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure you find parking and can settle in without having to rush
Parking: Free Street Parking is available, or the closest paid parking is one block down at 351 E. 3rd st. or at 306 E. 4th st.

Charlotte SHOUT Elemental Yoga + Fitness Series
THE EXPERIENCE
This outdoor series will be connecting Charlotte SHOUT visitors back with their minds and bodies. Being immersed in nature and connecting with the Earth. An ecosystem we urgently need to look after – our only home. Living a healthier more sustainable lifestyle by healing ourselves is the first step to healing our planet.
Movement - Eleven all-level classes will be offered throughout the duration of the festival. Each one will be a different sequence of postures. Participants will have a new experience with every class (Restorative, Vinyasa, All-Levels body weight workout, Acro Yoga, Sound Healing, Chakra Flow, Qigong, Slow flow, Meditation) to connect the mind to the body through movement.
Breath - Gain perspective by viewing the Earth at a close distance and slow down with various breathwork techniques throughout class.
Awareness - We only have 1 body, we only have 1 planet. Participants will gain awareness of how their bodies feel when they move with intention, which will tie back to the ways we move throughout life in relation to Mother Earth.
