The cancer society of New Zealand are putting on their annual Games Fair down at the Cloud (89 Quay Street, Auckland) and ACG Club are hosting a doubles tournament for W40k on the Sunday. Players will be fielding a force of 1000pts each for a combined force of 2000pts. Time to roll some dice and enjoy some casual fun while helping out a great cause.
Entry: Purchase your Games Fair ticket and add this tournament to your events list. Do both at the same time on the site. You will have to enter as an individual and then advise the T.O. so they can arrange you into your team. The event is at a 46 player cap.

The Games will be three Pariah Nexus GT missions.
Each player will bring a battle forged army of no more than 1000pts. One epic hero per player and no duplicates in a team. NO duplicate codexes.
The tournament is a 2v2 format (1000pts each, and more than combined 2000pts total as a team of 2). Games will be on a 60”x44” table.
Your 1000pt force acts independently to your ally in all respects during the game. The only exception is when it comes to scoring objectives and team scoring. This means that all effects and game bonuses do not confer to your ally’s force regardless of the source.
Units with the FORTIFICATION keyword are allowed but must fit onto the table without moving existing terrain.
Tournament will use fixed 3x Pariah Nexus Missions and 10th Edition rules.
All current FAQs and errata will be used. Further clarifications will be on the event page if deemed necessary.
We strongly recommend you use ‘Play by intent’ in your games and discuss any sticky situations with your opponents before asking umpires & TO’s.
