The annual Canberra Traditional BoatFest will be held on the shore of the Canberra Yacht Club on the 11-12th April. On Saturday, as part of the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival, over 30 boats will be on display, including steamboats, electric launches, putt-putts, sailing and rowing. There will be live music and rides available for children on ‘George’, the miniature steam train. On Sunday, boats take part in a Grand Parade from the Canberra Yacht Club to Kingston Harbour, where they can be seen between 10:00 and 11:00 am. BoatFest is hosted by the Traditional Boat Squadron of Canberra. The public program is free of cost.For more information, go to https://canberraboating.com/wp/
