We're back to our annual Benefit dance for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. This is a charity very near and dear to Julie personally, and we have all had someone in our lives affected by addictions or mental health issues. WHERE:
We'll be using the Westie Wednesday venue and time slot (Thank you Lisa Scarfo and TOSHC): Joy of Dance Centre starting at at 8 pm.
ADMISSION:
Recommended minimum donation of $12. Please do not send to the usual TOSHC email for this event.
RAFFLE:
We'll have our usual table of awesome Raffle Prizes and are accepting donations for goods and services if you'd like to contribute something.
Please bring cash to purchase tickets
1 ticket - $5.00
3 tickets - $10.00
10 tickets - $20.00
How it works? You will buy raffle tickets, and keep one half, and put the other half into the bag associated with the prize you want to draw for. Make sure your name is readable if you are not going to be there for the draw.
SCHEDULE:
8:00 pm. Doors open, social dancing
9:30 pm. Charity Jack-and-Jill Tournament style, $5 to enter (donated to CAMH) This is *limited to 16 leaders and 16 followers*. Do not wait until the night of to sign up. If you want to sign up in advance please message Joanna with the request and what roll - If you are not checked in by 9:15 - your spot will be resold.
10:30 pm. Draw for prizes. If you are not there and there is no readable name on it, a new ticket will be drawn. Many exciting items coming up.
