About this Event
Join us for an evening of discussion, networking and information-sharing on solar PV and renewable energy projects in Camden, featuring a real-life case study from WAC Arts.
Bringing together businesses, residents, community organisations and industry professionals, the event will explore how solar PV installations are delivered in practice -from planning considerations and funding support to installation processes and finding trusted, high-quality installers.
Speakers include:
- WAC Arts – sharing their experience of delivering a solar PV project and key lessons learned
- Camden Council (Conservation & Sustainability Teams) – planning considerations and available support for solar PV projects
- MCS – the UK’s quality mark for small-scale renewable energy technologies like solar panels. They will provide guidance on identifying quality installers and understanding what good installation looks like
The evening will begin with short presentations followed by a Q&A with speakers. Afterwards, there will be informal networking and information stalls where you can connect with local installers and organisations working in the sector.
Stallholders include:
- Community Energy London
- Joju Solar
- Econic Energy
Ideal for anyone interested in solar PV, building retrofit, or local renewable energy solutions.
