About this Event
The 7T Terra.X is the best MRI scanner in the UK, capable of whole brain high fidelity imaging. It enables incredibly subtle work, including the capacity to see the structure, functions and metabolism in the brain like never before.
The potential for this new technology for your research is transformative. We'll be telling you about what it can do and we want to hear your thoughts on how this can benefit our research community.
Speakers from across the Cambridge medical research community will be sharing their case studies of how they have used 7T MRI in their research already. Visiting speakers include Elisabeth de Vries from the Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, talking about their first 1,200 patients scanned at 7T, and Robin Heidemann and Sesha Subramanian from Siemens HQ Germany speaking on the capabilities of the new 7T Terra.X MRI.
Meet with us at this informal symposium on the biomedical campus to plan together the next steps for 7T MRI in Cambridge.
