About this Event
An evening of music that will resemble a variety of spaces including contemporary jazz, country and more. After the debut of his "Transition Moments" album which was described as sounding “loose and unified with the goal of conjuring the right emotion." Calvin Caron brings his new project “American West Quintet” to the Crooners Dunsmore room. Music written with two specific guitar players in mind (Hannigan & Peters) in order to create open landscapes for improvisation.

Calvin Caron is a bassist and composer living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His "American West Quintet" project draws inspiration from the landscapes and people that contribute to the story of the American west. His compositions aim to create unique musical atmospheres that encourage freedom of expression and listening.
