The California Building will host the annual fall open studio tour,California Dreamin’ at new date and time! Hours are Friday, September 27th from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, September 28th from 12-8 p.m.
The six-story building, home to one of the largest concentrations of artists in the District, will open its doors to showcase work from more than 40 artists in multiple mediums, giving the public an up close look at the artistic process, with many artists offering original works for sale.
Throughout the unique and historic building, artists will host family-friendly demos and classes in areas such as ceramics, jewelry, painting, woodworking, and more!
In addition to the on-site cafe, Mojo Coffee Gallery, food truck Tacos Los 4Carnales MN will be parked outside, offering delicious Mexican cuisine. Additionally, patrons can enjoy live music in the side lobby, as a part of the “Mailroom Music Series” from a variety of musical groups.
