The Cajon (wooden box), the smallest drum kit in the world, is the perfect powerful accompaniment instrument to any kind of band, be it blues, hip hop, boogie, rock, pop, folk or latin – providing a full snare and rich bass sound. Covering tones, exercises and rhythms, the workshop is suitable for drum set and hand-drummers alike.
Tutor: Ravin 'Raz' Jayasuriya, a professional percussionist and award-winning teacher with over 25 years experience specialising in Cuban and Brazilian music.
