About this Event
We'll open the space with some questions to connect with the wisdom already within us
-What are our ancestral seeds?
-How can we awaken them?
-What does it mean to be living in a multi-cultural city and how can I use the ancient wisdom of my ancestors in today's tech driven world?
Going deeper with Thai Ceremonial Cacao as our plant ally & guide, we'll brew our collective intentions & wishes into her together. We'll finish with a guided sensory & heart opening meditation and song as we sit with her.
After our circle, we'll walk and observe how local native plants were ancestrally used as medicine, and how we can incorporate them into our own modern rituals. We will observe native and non-native plants living together in harmony; and discuss how that can inspire us to connect more with ourselves and the living world around us.
Please bring your favorite mug and an object, snack, idea, story, tradition or anything else that represents your culture to share with the circle. It'll be a beautiful way to connect with what resonates deeply within all of us.
We will meet outdoors at the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve, at this location. Please enter from Woodley Ave. at the sign that says archery range and drive into the park. Drive to the very end of the road where you'll see the archery range and a free parking lot.
