About this Event
Join the Chicago Audiomakers Collective for an evening of curated audio hosted by Sonal Aggarwal, stand-up comedian, actor, producer, and regular host of The Moth Story Hour. Mark your calendars for 6 p.m. at The Lincoln Lodge on Sunday, March 29!
If you love audio or you just love discovering something new, this listening event is for you! The evening will feature audio–from sound art to archival sounds to podcast excerpts and more–on the theme of Heartland in all its many meanings.
Expect good listening and good company!
If you’re an audio creator, you are invited to submit any kind of audio piece related to the theme of Heartland, or share this with someone you think might be interested.
Be as expansive with the theme as you want! The piece can be an excerpt from a show or interview, sound art, a piece of music, or something that’s all or none of the above. It can be something you’ve made before or something you make specifically for this event. You can be an audio professional, or this can be the first audio piece you’ve ever created. The only requirement is that it’s under 5 minutes.
