Join us at St. James Cemetery and Crematorium on November 11, 2025 a traditional Remembrance Day ceremony.
Doors open 9:45 AM; ceremony begins 10:00 AM.
The program features a processional with veterans and dignitaries, readings from local officials, brief scripture and words from the Vicar, and live trumpet and bagpipe, including the Last Post and Reveille.
At 11:00 AM, we will observe two minutes of silence followed by wreath laying. Guests may place poppies at veterans’ headstones (poppies available on-site).
Complimentary refreshments provided by Daniel et Daniel Catering & Events and McDonald’s. Free; all are welcome. Dress for the weather.
The first portion of the Ceremony will take place inside the historic Chapel of St. James-the-Less. The final portion of the Ceremony (including a moment of silence) will take place outside of the chapel in the cemetery grounds starting at 10:45 a.m.
Tour of Veteran Graves - (11:20 a.m.) This tour will be guided by local historian Gilles Hout of the on the cemetery grounds immediately following the ceremony.
