Imagine this: you arrive into a hedonistic city bathing in music, sex, and partying, only to look up and discover the rise of fascism casting a shadow over it. Sounds familiar?

Based on the hit Broadway musical “Cabaret” by Bob Fosse, Buba Sababa’s Cabaret is a special Drag-musical extravaganza about dancing on a volcano that’s about to explode. Making parallels between the queer migrants in Berlin in the 1920s and the 2020s, Buba and his crew pay homage to the original musical while turning it upside down. With over 12 numbers of live music, choreography, and sharp-witted humor, “Cabaret” serves Drag King and Queen theater at its best.
