Critters are yet again coming together to celebrate each other and our cosplay creations at C2E2 2026, at our all new location, THE TAVERN STAGE!WHEN: Saturday, Marth 28th 2026 at 1:30 PM CST. Please be on time, or you might miss your group. We have 1 hour of photographer time and a lot of group shots to get through!
WHERE: S406, THE TAVERN - please see the C2E2 website and/or app for directions to the location!
HOW: Kayla/@asheneyed- your humble host, will be directing cosplayers by organized groups (campaign, character/player/npc, etc) to get everything done in a timely fashion. Please be listening for your cue! Critters not cosplaying are welcome to attend- please give space and listen out for directions from the pro photographers so we can make this as smooth as possible.
Please note, the usual format will be deviating a bit this year since we have added a new setting and new player characters! Please make sure to pay attention to the changes during the meetup.
There is plenty of room during and after the meetup for socializing, trinket trading, and merry-making due to the excellent Tavern location.
WHO: Photography again will be handled by the lovely Chicagoconpics who have shot us the last several years.
SAFETY: If you need any assistance due to mobility devices or issues, disability, hearing or sight impairment, injury, or anything else- please feel free to speak up to Kayla directly. I try to make it as easy as possible on everyone to participate. I will be doing a lot of shuffling of cosplayers to maximize photo space and arrangement, and I want to be considerate of people's needs. Same for all of you- respect the bodily autonomy and well being of your fellow Critters, and help each other out by being aware of large props/wings/etc.
