About this Event
BYOT (“Bring Your Own Thing”) is UCB’s new open mic that welcomes everyone in the comedy community (that means you dangit!) to “bring your own thing,” whatever that may be! Sketch, improv, stand-up, musical comedy, characters, meta-textual deconstructions or just screaming wildly at the audience - whatever you want!
Continuing the legacy of the original BYOT (“Bring Your Own Team”) from the old UCBEast, every Sunday night at 10pm, Ethan Beach & Chris Blanco will welcome all to strut their wild stuff for a welcoming and laughing audience. Go nuts - it’s a comedy laboratory! There WILL be open beakers of toxic & fatal chemicals all over the theatre.
RULES:
- Signups will be available on this Google Form and on Instagram (@byotmic) on Sundays at 2pm. If you miss the signup, feel free to come through anyway and we will try to get you on!
- Everyone will get 5 minutes - improv will be blacked out and everyone else will be lit after 4 minutes. Feel free to do less time if you want too!
- No targeted hatred/bigotry will be tolerated.

***Pleaste note, the event will say “unavailable,” when trying to get tickets via Eventbrite. That’s only because tickets are not needed for BYOT. The event is very much available, just show up without a reservation!
