Join us at a volunteer work day at the Bengel Wildlife Center from 9am-12pm on Saturday, May 9th. We will meet in the circle drive and head out on all of the trails clearing brush, picking up trash, and removing invasive plants. This is an all-ages event so bring the whole family! Our naturalist, Drew will be on hand to teach you about Michigan's fabulous ecosystems. After we are done cleaning up, stick around for a free hotdog (or veggie dog) cookout! We will be grilling up dogs served with chips and drinks for our hard working volunteers.
Bring basic gardening tools if you have them (pruners, loppers, shears, etc.) and some gloves. Please RSVP to [email protected] so we know how many hotdogs and veggie dogs, chips, and drinks to get!
