About this Event
Have you arrived at the place in your journey where you recognize that true inner peace is not possible without self-forgiveness?
Forgiveness isn’t just a concept — it’s a lived, felt, known experience. It lives in the breath, the body, the nervous system. In this HeartWave workshop, we invite you into a rhythmic journey of descent and uplift — combining emotional depth with playful release.
You’ll travel into the heart’s deepest chambers to meet what longs to be seen, felt, and released. Each wave of the day guides you through cycles of inner exploration followed by joyful integration. Through movement, guided practices, and relational exercises, we create a full-spectrum reset where forgiveness becomes not just understood, but felt.
This is healing without heaviness. Depth without overwhelm. Play without bypassing.
You can expect to gain a new, gentler understanding of what “forgiveness” actually means, along with clear guidance on how to hold yourself with radical acceptance and innocence — no matter what arises. You’ll also learn a simple practice for noticing when forgiveness is calling, and how to recognize the moment it has truly been offered … and received.
You’ll leave lighter, clearer, and closer to the heart of genuine self-forgiveness — having released old burdens, reclaimed innocence, and rediscovered the joy that naturally rises when the weight is gone.
What you can expect
Depth and Playfulness: We’ll weave teachings and exercises together with group activities that invite levity, connection, and a sense of shared discovery.
Living Practices: You’ll learn a breathing technique that brings you back to your heart, a clear roadmap for practicing self‑forgiveness on your own, and gentle methods for softening your defenses. You’ll move, stretch, and play. You’ll almost certainly laugh, you may cry, and you’ll discover that healing is far more natural—and far easier—than you ever imagined.
A Beautiful Container: This will be a small, intimate group held in a serene, nourishing setting. At the Luna Center, you’ll be able to settle into the exquisite natural balance that already exists there—an atmosphere that quietly supports healing, presence, connection, and play.

What is HeartWave?
HeartWave is a living, rhythmic approach to experiencing growth that moves in waves — descending into the heart for depth and clarity, then rising into joy, lightness, and play. It honors the truth that real healing is neither a heavy slog nor a spiritual bypass. Instead, it follows the natural tide of the heart: feel, release, rise.
Where traditional approaches can seem overly intense, leaving us overwhelmed or stuck in emotional excavation, HeartWave brings depth in digestible waves. And where some teachings skip straight to a temporary positivity or transcendence, HeartWave avoids bypassing by returning to what’s real, tender, and ready to be met.
HeartWave works because it engages the whole nervous system. Each descent into honest self‑contact is followed by an ascent into relief, humor, embodiment, and joy — allowing you to integrate what you’ve touched rather than collapse under it … or float above it.
Bios:
John Love is the founder of Luna Center and an ordained interfaith minister. He’s taught meditation in prisons, wandered India on pilgrimage, and written two historical‑fiction novels. He leads a weekly forgiveness group, has hosted more workshops and retreats than he can count, and delights in bringing humor and playfulness into every corner of learning and healing.
Kendra Hammer is a recovering grudge-holder and depression-dweller, now living a life free of resentment, guilt, shame, and the life-force deadening effects those energies engender. She co-facilitates forgiveness workshops and retreats all over the globe, guiding beings into the depths of their most “stuck” places with gentleness, curiosity, and radical acceptance, so they may discover and embody the inherent innocence, freedom, and joy that is their true essence.
Jayem is a longtime mystic and renowned spiritual teacher whose work centers on forgiveness, inner healing, and the rediscovery of our natural innocence. For more than three decades he has guided individuals and groups into a direct, embodied relationship with the wisdom of the heart.
