Join us for a special edition of our Buttercream Basics workshop — a collaboration between Cake Atelier Copenhagen and Gluten Tag.In this hands-on session, you will learn the fundamentals of buttercream cake decorating while working with a gluten-free and lactose-free cake, specially prepared by Josefina from Gluten Tag . Ornella from Cake Atelier Copenhagen will guide you step-by-step through the decorating techniques, with Josefina assisting throughout the session.
This workshop is designed for beginners, to help you gain confidence decorating cakes and enjoy a fun, creative experience.
We’ll spend four creative hours decorating, experimenting with textures, sharing tips, and enjoying a hyggelig atmosphere around the table.
What's Included
• One 10 cm vanilla & berries mini cake (gluten & lactose free) to decorate and take home
• All tools, materials, and decorating supplies during the workshop
• Coffee, tea, herbal infusions, and light snacks throughout the session
• A follow-up PDF guide with recipes, tips, and techniques so you can keep practicing at home
• Cake packaging to safely take your creation home
What You'll Learn
• How to frost a cake using buttercream
• Smooth finishing techniques using spatulas and scrapers
• Texture & color techniques with palette knives and piping
• Decorative finishes using ribbons
By the end of the workshop, you will leave with your own beautifully decorated cake and the confidence to continue decorating at home.
