About this Event

The "Business Women of Color Brunch," is a one of a kind event! We gathered more than 150 Black and brown women dedicated to creating spaces of joy and inclusion; for current and aspiring female entrepreneurs and professionals.

Our message for 2024 has been centered around "Planting Seeds" in Cycle I. This requires us to take accountability for the things we want to change and look within ourselves to grow. As you move towards the end of the year, our hope is that every time you look at yourself in the mirror, you are reminded of the seed you planted for yourself.

Our message for 2025 has been centered around "Germination" in Cycle II. During this process, environmental conditions must trigger the seed's growth. Factors such as how deep the seed is planted, how often it is watered, and the environment it is in can affect its growth. When a seed is exposed to the right conditions, it can blossom and flourish.

For 2026, our message will center around "Budding" in Cycle III. Just as a seed begins to push through the soil and form new growth, this is the moment when the efforts we've invested in ourselves begin to take visible shape. The seed you planted and nurtured in the past cycles is now beginning to blossom into something tangible. The growth you've cultivated is ready to emerge, and with it comes new opportunities, relationships, and experiences. Just like a bud that needs the right balance of sunlight, care, and patience to flourish, we too need to nurture the connections and opportunities that surround us. As you move forward, embrace the beauty of your unfolding potential and continue to care for the "buds" of your life your personal growth, your relationships, and your dreams. This is the year of growth, of things becoming clearer, and of seeing the results of the seeds you planted. Embrace the process, and allow yourself to blossom.
