About this Event

Business Networking Event for Women Entrepreneurs

We are Lecturers at the University of Greenwich and we are delighted to invite you to a Women Entrepreneurs Networking Event, delivered as part of a British Academy-funded research project exploring women’s entrepreneurship and post-COVID recovery.

Event details
πŸ“… Friday, 30 January
⏰ 12:00–4:00 pm
πŸ“ Powerhouse Cooper, Cooper 005, University of Greenwich (Greenwich campus)

This is a relaxed, interactive, in-person event designed for women entrepreneurs and women-led businesses. It is especially suited to UK-registered women-led businesses that were established by 2020 (i.e., businesses that were operating before or during the COVID period), but women entrepreneurs at other stages are also welcome to register.

What you will gain from attending

  • Connect with other women entrepreneurs and grow your business network
  • Share real experiences, challenges, and what has worked in practice
  • Take part in practical activities to develop strategies for navigating uncertainty, sustaining motivation, and growing your business

Purpose of the day

  • Create a supportive space for women entrepreneurs to connect and learn from one another
  • Share key themes from interviews with women entrepreneurs about their COVID-period and recovery journey, and check what resonates (and what’s missing).
  • Work together to develop practical, experience-based strategies that will be shared with participants after the event

What to expect on the day

The event will include networking, guided small-group discussions, and practical activities focused on business resilience and growth. You choose what you share, there is no pressure to speak.
