Our July business networking event in Peterborough is Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week. This felt like the perfect week for our networking event because we want to support the local business community. This local community is made up of independent retailers, as well as a wide range of other businesses and industries.
We will be running Peterborough is Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week at a small, independent and new bar called Tipsy Cow. This new bar is based in the city centre. It is being run by Will of Realise Finance, a local accountancy firms that helps many local businesses, including independent retailers.
July is also National Blueberry Month. The Tipsy Cow are kindly offering the space and venue free of charge, along with a blueberry drink to celebrate National Blueberry Month. Attendees are invited to come along for free and are welcome to purchase any other drinks at the bar during or after the event.
The venue is being given for free, along with blueberry drinks. In addition, the team here at Creative Content Company are organising, marketing and promoting this event for free. Attendees are invited to take photos and share the venue and event online, to help support the local business community.
The event will take place from 3pm until 5pm. Between 3pm and 3.30pm attendees can networking informally. This will be followed by an introduction from the owner of The Tipsy Cow. Will from Realise Finance will then give a short presentation on independent retailers, how they support them and how we can, as consumers.
Attendees will then present their business to the room for up to 1 minute. This is your chance to share what you do, how you do it and who you do it for. Attendees to Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week will then share their favourite local independent retailer.
The Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week event officially ends at 5pm. However, attendees are welcome to stay after, purchase a drink and network further.
Please Note: photos and videos will be taken throughout the event to be used on social media to promote the business, organiser and attendees. After the event an email will be sent out with details of all attendees so business conversations can continue.
