From weddings and events to creating a welcoming space for artists, makers, and entrepreneurs, Lexi’s story is one of creativity, resilience, and building community through small business. In addition to enjoying coffee and donuts, attendees will also have the chance to engage in a Q&A and connect with fellow entrepreneurs and community members.

Lexi Clark is the creator and owner of Lexi Lou – which she began in 2019 after working hands-on with a local florist here in Minot. At that time, she realized there was a need for smaller weddings and events with floral budgets under $1,500, so Lexi started creating faux wedding florals for couples wanting something beautiful, intentional, and affordable.
Before launching Lexi Lou, she spent two years working for A Bit of Heaven Weddings, where she fell in love with weddings, event styling, florals, and the magic that comes from celebrating love and connection.
When Lexi Lou started, Lexi spent three years designing with faux florals before transitioning into fresh flowers and opening her own retail space in 2022. Since then, Lexi Lou has grown into something bigger than she ever imagined, not just a flower shop, but a creative and joyful community space.
Lexi describes herself as a fun, energetic, free-spirited individual, and definitely someone who wears their heart on their sleeve. She truly believe art makes people feel something. Flowers create connection between client and designer, customer and friend, strangers and community.
One of Lexi’s favorite parts about owning Lexi Lou is the community they’ve built. The support from her customers and clients means everything to her. The Lexi Lou shop on Fourth Avenue northwest is also home to several small businesses, and Lexi says that being able to provide a welcoming space for makers, artists, and entrepreneurs is one of the things she is most proud of.
When she is not in the shop creating a beautiful mess, you can usually find Lexi traveling, loving on her dogs, dreaming up new ideas, or finding ways to spread a little more joy through art and flowers.
