Special Session at 9:30am: Help to Grow – Supporting Your Business
We’re delighted to welcome Ian Harmer (University of Leicester) and Bobby Chotai (De Montfort University), who will lead an informal and interactive session on the Help to Grow programme.
This will be a slightly different format, with local businesses invited to join Ian and Bobby at the front to share experiences and insights. Together, they’ll cover:
- What the Help to Grow programme is
- What it involves
- How your business can benefit and get involved
There will also be a Q&A session, giving you the chance to ask questions and explore how the programme could support your growth.
Ian and Bobby will be available throughout the networking session, so you can continue the conversation and get tailored advice.
Meet the Speakers
Ian Harmer – Business Coordinator, University of Leicester School of Business
Ian supports organisations to access university-led business support, helping them develop leadership skills, foster innovation, and connect with talent and opportunities. He works across a range of initiatives including Help to Grow, internships, masterclasses, and bespoke leadership programmes.
Bobby Chotai – Programmes Business Development Manager, De Montfort University
Bobby brings over 25 years of business experience, including leadership roles in FMCG and running his own start-up. He now supports businesses to access growth programmes, funding, and networks, and is passionate about helping organisations connect, grow and flourish.
