🌟🌀💫SAVE THE DATE! MONDAY 15th JUNE AT BURY TANGO! 💫🌀🌟We are excited about this! 🤗🤗
On Monday 15th June, Robert and I will be teaching an extended workshop at Bury Tango, from 7.30-9pm at the Hunter Club:
“Painting the floor: using beautiful lapiz and enrosque movements for both roles, to add elegance to your dance!”
The enrosque and lapiz are gorgeous Argentine tango embellishments used to add flair and drama. They are often used in combination to achieve a graceful, elegant effect on the dance floor. They can also help to create energy, and to express musicality.
We will be looking at their use in the giro and calesita.
* Enrosque ("To coil or twist"): The leader or follower pivots on one foot while hooking the other leg around it.
* Lapiz ("Pencil"): The leader or follower traces a circular arc on the floor with the toe or edge of the foot.
Come and have a fun evening with some serious learning! 🤗😁 🎓
