We are excited to be having our first event of the year - and it's a DANCE - with a LIVE band - on 25 January 2025 at 7pm hosted by Left Bank on Cardigan Rd Burley Leeds LS6 1LJ. The crème de la crème of venues.
We and the haggis* would be absolutely delighted if you could make it. This is a fundraiser for our project to build a bike powered machine for off-grid events in Armley and without you we wouldn't have gotten as far as we have so let's make a night of it and celebrate with celebrations and antics. The tickets are already selling fast so don't miss out!
The ceilidh band Bandiera Rossa are living legends in the Leeds music scene having played together for 30 years. We are honoured to have their support to accompany this traditional Scottish dance.
Please do spread the word print this poster out on your home printers bring all your friends... We say the more the merrier which is why we are offering a flexible price band for tickets as well as *vegan veggie and actual haggis.

Roadblock CIC reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme at any time and without advance notice. Roadblock CIC does not have a back up band and so it may be necessary to cancel a performance at short notice due to illness. For this reason please ensure Roadblock CIC/Left Bank Leeds box office has your correct contact details.

Tickets are non-refundable and will become void if re-sold. Subject to our planned events, we are sometimes able to exchange tickets for another event we are hosting. If an event has sold out we are happy to try and re-sell your tickets. Please note that we cannot guarantee the re-sale of your tickets. If they are re-sold, you will be refunded via the original payment method. Cash refunds will be held at Box Office for collection.
Tickets cannot be refunded unless the event is cancelled. In the event of a cancelled event, patrons will first be offered the opportunity to exchange tickets for another performance; if there are no alternative tickets or if the patron is not able to attend an alternative event the full purchase cost of the ticket will be refunded.
Please check your tickets and confirmation email carefully as mistakes cannot be rectified at a later date.
Roadblock CIC does not charge a booking fee for tickets booked through the Box Office or online.
When booking tickets online it is possible to make a donation to Roadblock via our crowd funder. You do not have to make a donation.
Roadblock CIC is a Community Interest Company. It is mostly volunteer run. We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to abusive or violent behaviour and language. We have the right to reject any disrespectful persons from the event who are trying to spoil it for others by harassing them or making them feel uncomfortable.
If required, we will endeavour to post all tickets out within 2 working days of making a booking. Tickets will be posted by First Class Post at a cost of £1. Roadblock CIC cannot accept any responsibility for documents mislaid or lost in the post.
Tickets can also be left at the Box Office for collection. If you have chosen to collect your tickets at the Box Office we recommend picking up your tickets at least fifteen minutes before the event begins. Please bring along the order number and any proof of eligibility for any discounted tickets.
If you lose your tickets then you can request a reprint from the Box Office. Please bring proof of identification.
Upon making a booking we may add you to our mailing list to keep you informed of future events, news and ticket offers, unless you ask to opt out. We will also store any personal information which you provide to us during the Booking process (e.g. name, telephone number and email address).
Roadblock CIC and Left Bank Leeds will not store your credit or debit card details and payments will be taken on a per transaction basis, as indicated by the card holder via phone.
Smoking is prohibited within the Left Bank Leeds building.
The use of photographic or recording equipment during any performance is strictly prohibited unless by a Roadblock CIC team member or Left Bank Leeds.
Roadblock CIC would prefer glassware not to be brought onto the dancefloor due to the unpredictable nature of ceilidhs. Plastic cups can be provided at the bar.
Mobile phones, pagers, watches and other portable electrical devices must be silenced, including vibration functions, before entering the building. This is for the consideration of fellow event goers who want to enjoy the dance and live music without disruptions. This is a live event with a live band.
Strobe lighting and smoke effects are sometimes used at events. Signs will be displayed informing you of this in advance.
Roadblock CIC cannot be held responsible for any personal items brought to the venue.
