Robert Burns (or Rabbie, as he was known) is Scotland’s most famous poet. We're bringing the celebration to your favourite city centre pub in Oxford! Burns Night is about honouring the life and works of an influential Scotsman with traditional food, drink, and music. It’s a spontaneous and joyful celebration, where bagpipes hum, glasses clink, and the spirit of Scotland fills the air.
Join us for a 4-course Scottish menu, carefully paired with drinks, for a truly authentic experience:

On Arrival
The Thistle Cocktail – A light Scotch laced with elderflower liqueur, a squeeze of lemon and topped with soda for a sparkling finish.
1st Course – Canapé
Golden Highland Bites – Crisp, golden breadcrumbed bites with a delicately spiced savoury filling, served hot at your table.
2nd Course – Starter
Balmoral Chicken – Succulent grilled chicken breast, spiced centre, crisp bacon, smokey cream sauce, and chive mashed potatoes.
Paired with: Cairn o' Mohr Elderflower and Gooseberry Wine.
3rd Course – Main
Haggis, Neeps & Tatties – A traditional Scottish dish with spiced filling, buttery mashed potatoes, turnip mash, and whisky cream.
Paired with: Glenmorangie 10-Year Whisky; served neat, on the rocks or with a water back.
4th Course – Dessert
Cranachan – A quintessential Scottish dessert of whipped cream, honey, whisky, fresh raspberries, and golden toasted oats.
5th Course – Nightcap
Shortbread & Hot Toddy – A warming Hot Toddy served with buttery shortbread for dunking to end proceedings.
