A 5Rhythms dance and movement weekend for embodied awakening
About this Event

During this weekend we will use the 5Rhythms® maps of Gabrielle Roth to drop deeply into the body, the moment, Moving beyond image and appearance we will open our hearts, awakening to our unconditioned awareness we will arrive in stillness

Created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor, reaching across all languages, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art, art into awareness and awareness into action. Wherever the 5 Rhythms are practiced, a community is born to dance, to sweat, the change, to support, and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego's hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge walking, rock-star part of ourselves that yearns to be free.

The 5Rhythms® are, Flow, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical & Stillness. When we move through the 5Rhythms in that order we move through a wave, a meditation, a dance.

About me
After years of exploring different meditation practices I discovered 5Rhythms in 1996.

In 2010 I trained with Gabrielle Roth to teach the 5Rhythms.

Since that time I have held regular classes and workshops in Oxford, London and surrounding areas

I feel just as passionate today about the 5Rhythms as when I first stepped onto the dance floor.

This is my practice, my passion, and my love….

I do hope you will join me on the dance floor
