Burnout isn’t a simple matter of being overtired, stressed or doing too much. It is the reasons behind being overtired, the stress and why you do too much; the underlying causes, which are usually deeper and more complicated that lead to burnout. Burnout is chronic, often based on learned patterns or behaviors and affects all areas of life.Burnout puts our nervous system in a constant stress response - survival mode - and makes it seem like it is impossible to find our way out of it.
The good news: You are not alone. You can make it better. You can learn ways to prevent it from happening again.
This monthly group is a judgment-free, nurturing environment for you to share your experiences that have brought you to the point of burnout. It is a place for you to be seen and heard, as you are in that moment. We will discuss strategies for identifying the things that lead to burnout, helping develop more self-awareness and less willingness to sacrifice yourself to prove your worth.
