Burnham Park Yacht Club Exhibition
Opening Reception Night – Saturday - April 26th 5:00pm-8:00pm
Hi Everyone,
The Thursday Night Sketch Group will be having an exhibition of their sketches/paintings at the Burnham Park Yacht Club on April 26th from 5-8pm. I have been wanting to exhibit the group’s work, and the opportunity has come to fruition. Please join us at the Opening night reception as we would love support from the Chicago Chapter and Urban Sketchers alike. Bring your spouse, significant other or friends to help us celebrate the beautiful work that will be on display. Our group sketched/painted in and around the club a couple times last year with the hopes of exhibiting the work, and now the time has come. The work will incorporate the Club’s “vibe” It will be a fun night of gathering at the Club to view the work, chat with other sketchers and meet new friends all while enjoying the gorgeous view of the City’s Skyline. There will be complimentary wine (2 bottles). There is a restaurant and bar if you choose to drink and eat. As we get closer to the date, I will provide the code to the gate for you to enter the parking lot which is free. This will be the only night that the public will be able to view the work as the club is private. The work will be on display for a month for club members. I hope you can make it.
