Learn about the mating habits of snails and spiders and lake dwellers while dodging the villainous creatures that go bump (and grind!) in the night!
On Tuesday, June 9, Burlynomicon transforms The Coffin into the Summer Camp we all wish we went to! We will gather in the intimate upstairs venue (around the campfire) to witness a spectacular showing of the best darkly decadent (and campy) performance art amongst resplendently eerie surroundings, where you can also peruse the delightful wares of our vendor, crack open a cold one or treat yourself to a signature Summer Camp cocktail, roast some marshmallows (or order from the Coffin Cart), and encounter a magical being that will tell you of your fortune.
Be prepared to be the best in our camp game, where you could win the ultimate in camp prizes!

Produced and hosted by Natasha Riot, Burlynomicon is a darkly decadent monthly showcase of performance (now in its 14th year!) held every second Tuesday of the month (January - October) in the incredibly rare, cryptic expanse of The Coffin. Venture into the dark speakeasy that features a monthly rotating cast of cabaret and performance art talent from Portland and beyond, where performers present art & beauty with an eerie and humorous twist.
Advance tickets are highly recommended, as capacity is limited. This show WILL sell out!
- GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING IS TICKETED ONLY. There are standing room only tickets available for pre-sale and at the door (as room allows)
-Doors will open at 7pm. Plan to arrive early for dinner, courtesy of the Coffin Cart, for delicious drink specials created just for Burlynomicon, take time to peruse our delightful vendors, and to claim your seat!
- Costumes/fancy dress are highly recommended!
- Masks are not required, yet encouraged, as we are an intimate venue.
- Please no smoking or vaping inside the venue.
- Show runs approx 2 - 2.5 hours (sometimes more, sometimes less) with a 15-20min intermission
The Coffin Cart (all vegan, deliciously delightful food) will be open to satisfy the pangs in your belly as our performers ease the longing in your soul.
