About this Event
Join us for an evening honoring the rich history and vibrant culture of Burkina Faso through a special documentary screening and interactive painting session in celebration of the resilience and bravery of the Burkinabè people in the face of imperialism and oppression. Traditional Burkinabè light bites will be served.
This gathering also pays tribute to the life and legacy of Thomas Sankara, as well as to all revolutionaries who've come before and after him. Their revolutionary vision continues to inspire our work as we fight for justice for communities all around the world.
Suggested donation: $5–$20 sliding scale.
100% of proceeds will support our ongoing efforts in Burkina Faso. Please visit our website for more information.
