About this Event
<h4>Have you ever struggled to gain a child’s trust at the beginning of a therapeutic relationship? Maybe they’re reluctant to go into the room without their parent(s) present or keep asking when the session will be over. In this 1-hour virtual presentation, participants will learn different techniques to use in session to help with the process of building trust with these young clients. This presentation will cover techniques and other basic skills to use in play therapy.</h4>

Participants will be able to:

Learn and implement trust-building techniques and basic skills to use with young children during a play therapy session.

What entrance to the building do I use for the event?

There will be signs outside directing you to the correct entrance. The event will be held on the bottom floor training room of EMERGE. You will enter in the side door of the building (to the right of the parking lot, facing the building) by the concrete staircase.

What is the Refund Policy?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not need a printed ticket. Save a copy of your email confirmation for your records.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Your ticket may only be used for this event.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

The name on the ticket needs to match the name of the person attending the event. If you plan to buy a ticket for someone else, make sure to register with the name and email of the person planning to attend the event.

How do I receive CE credit for this workshop?

After the workshop you will receive an online evaluation. Once your evaluation is submitted electronically, you will be emailed a copy of your workshop certificate.
