About this Event
Breaking barriers and building bridges towards the SDGs
Wednesday 26 June 2024
13:00 – 14:00
RSA House and online via YouTube
This London Climate Action Week, join us at the RSA to explore how to break down the barriers and bridge the divides that hold us back from meeting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The 17 UN SDGs sit at the heart of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development – a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and planet, now and in the future. The Global Goals are an urgent call for action by all countries in global, cross-sectoral partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
At the RSA in London Climate Action Week, leading figures from culture, industry and civil society gather to share insights into how we more effectively foster the cross-sector collaboration that will be essential to accelerating our collective journey to achieving the goals.
Chaired by musician, UN Youth Leader and SDG champion AY Young and featuring World Environment Awards founder Jarvis Smith, musician and social impact storyteller Timo Peach and sustainable finance communications specialist Sarisher Mann among others, this event is an unmissable invitation to unite, innovate, and propel the global sustainability agenda forward.
Join us and be part of the conversation.
In collaboration with Project 17, BNP Paribas and London Climate Action Week
