About this Event

The Dr. Albert D. Holland School of Technology will host a robotics event on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM EDT. Featuring FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team CTRL+Z (Team 25718), the event introduces students, educators, families, and community members to competitive robotics and how to build sustainable programs.

Coaches Ganesh and Raji Iyer will lead a live demonstration of their robot, sharing highlights and lessons from past seasons. Attendees will see how engineering, programming, teamwork, and problem-solving come together in a student-driven environment.

An informational session will guide educators and families on starting or expanding robotics teams, covering the FIRST Tech Challenge, best practices, and key resources.

Designed for middle- and high-school students, the event promotes accessibility, mentorship, and community collaboration, with opportunities to ask questions, interact with team members, and explore STEM pathways.
