About this Event

That favorite sweater with the moth holes? It's not done yet. Now is the time to make repairs and protect your garments from clothes moths during the months they're most active. You'll learn some darning techniques to repair holes and tips on how to eliminate and prevent moths from getting at your garments — so your closet is ready when sweater season rolls back around. Bring any sweaters (or knit garment) you want to fix. Darning materials provided.

What We’ll Cover

🦋 Identify the signs of clothes moth activity before it gets worse

👯 Match thread and stitch style to different sweater weights and weaves

🧺 Store and protect your off-season garments so moths can't reach them

Each participant will make and take home

You'll mend your own garment during class.
