About this Event

Capital doesn’t start with a loan application—it starts with a strong foundation. This workshop series helps you build the key financial pieces lenders look for while strengthening the overall health of your business. You’ll gain practical tools and knowledge to prepare for our Access to Capital Workshop on May 6 and beyond.

February 3, 2026 - Know Before You Owe: Are You Loan Ready?: Thinking about financing, but not sure if your business is ready? This session provides an overview of what lenders look for, common readiness gaps, and how to position your business for success before applying for a loan.

February 24, 2026 - Building a Strong Business Plan: From Idea to Bank-Ready: Whether you’re creating a business plan from scratch or refining an existing one, this workshop dives into the key components lenders expect to see. Learn how to clearly tell your business story, define your strategy, and align your plan with funding goals.

March 17, 2026 - Know Your Numbers: Understanding Financial Statements: Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow don’t have to be intimidating. This session breaks down essential financial documents, helping you understand what they mean, how to review them, and why they matter when seeking financing.

April 7, 2026- Credit Confidence: Strengthening & Understanding Your Financial Profile: Strong credit can open doors to better financing options. Learn how to build and maintain business and personal credit, address derogatory items, and take practical steps to improve credit scores over time.

Complete this series, then take the final step at our Access to Capital Workshop on May 6, where we connect the pieces and focus on funding.
