New construction has been freshly built from ground up. It’s not a renovation or a restoration. Options are a custom home, semi-custom or spec home designed and completed before the sale directly from a developer. New home construction transfers directly from the builder to the buyer. Let’s meet the people who’ll build home, various documents, i.e., specifications, drawings, master plan, plat, construction plans, understand 4 types of homes, and the 10 phases to expect during construction.
Understanding the necessary components of new home construction will help you more successfully implement them into your buyer’s needs, goals and desires in working with the builder and the onsite sales representative.
