Bogs are home to many of the most bizarre species of plants on planet earth. Join assistant nursery manager and lead grower, Kevin Stephens as we participate in building our own container bogs to take home and cherish while learning the techniques used to create both in-ground and container bog gardens. Participants will also learn about successful soil mixes as well as long-term care of container and in-ground bog gardens.Class includes: Container (approx. 14"x14"x13"), all planting media, one pitcher plant, one Venus fly trap, terrestrial orchids and other select bog plants. Additional pitcher plants or specialty bog plants are available for purchase at time of workshop. Please let us know ahead of time if you wish to bring your own container.
